SUMMARY:Ribbon Cutting at Lincoln Park Synthetic Turf Project
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a ribbon-cutting with Parks & Rec at Lincoln Park to celebrate the new turf on the ball fields. \n\n \nThis project represents a major investment in the future of our athletic facilities and the continued growth of sports tourism in Columbus.\n\n \n\nThe upgrade made possible through a $1 million READI grant awarded to the South Central Indiana Talent Region and an additional $300\,000 contribution from the Columbus Area Visitors Center transformed six diamond infields with high performance synthetic turf. These improvements will reduce rainouts\, increase field reliability\, and strengthen our ability to host major tournaments\, including upcoming USSSA Fastpitch Nationals.
