Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOP) can be a great tool for business succession planning. Agresta Storms and O'Leary will host this workshop, which will explore the who, what, why and how of implementing an ESOP.
Business succession is one of the most important processes a business considers. An ESOP or Employee Stock Ownership Plan, is one method of succession planning business owners should understand as part of the process. An ESOP is a plan that provides a company's employees with a beneficial ownership interest in the company.
Nick Agresta and Shawwn Storms will explore some of the key things to understand and consider about ESOPs, how these plans work as a part of the business succession strategy, and how they affect owners/employers and employees.
