We are looking for an energetic, well-organized, solution-oriented individual to provide high-level administrative support in our Columbus and Seymour offices. This individual will be a “team player” and will be key to ASO’s ongoing success and growth and will have opportunities to build exceptional relationships, make significant impact and grow professionally.
Qualifications:
• Ability to communicate precisely and professionally, both in writing and verbally
• Ability to manage multiple projects in an often fast-paced at a time with attention to time-sensitive deadlines
• Ability to oversee large volume of email communication and phone calls
• Ability to filter and prioritize client visits and phone calls
• Ability to communicate effectively on behalf of partners and other associates
• Ability to prioritize and make decisions
Responsibilities:
• Manage and coordinate all facets of tax projects using firm tax and project tracking software
• Manage overall office operations, including vendor communications, facility needs, supplies, etc.
• Manage calendars, assist with meeting and special event planning
Experience:
•Office administrative experience preferred
• Prior CPA or professional services firm experience preferred, including time and billing, tax return and extension processing, e-filing and due date tracking
• General knowledge of tax returns is preferred
• Knowledge of office equipment, computers, telephones, copiers/printers, and scanners and willingness to troubleshoot
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite • Prior experience with tax and project tracking software preferred
