Job Description
This is a full-time exempt position with opportunities for bonus, commissions and company growth. This is an in-office position and will report to SIHO’s Vice President of Medicare Advantage Sales.    
 
Brief Description of Duties:
 
§Serve as a subject matter expert on SIHO’s Medicare Advantage product line, Medicare, and industry insights
§Build positive business relationships with consumers to ensure continued interest in SIHO’s   products and services         
§Participate in training opportunities to develop advanced product knowledge to share current information while generating and delivering product recommendations and quotes to customers
§Respond via telephone or email to determine customer needs and to present product recommendations through a consultative sales process
§Quote customers on available product options and accurately explain plan details
§Respond to questions from consumers regarding SIHO Medicare products, services, website logins or navigating the website
§Will need to alternate weekend days with other staff
 
Qualifications

Minimum Skills Required:
 
§Expected to achieve Insurance License and training within 45 days (all company paid)
§Must have exceptional customer service skills
§Be an active listener and have a professional phone voice
§Strong time management skills
§Must demonstrate adaptability and accountability
§Conduct outgoing calls to provide answers and additional information to consumers
§Achieve monthly performance goals and objectives as outlined by leadership
§Communicate to Medicare beneficiaries accurately to ensure understanding of the product choices available to them during the enrollment process
§Execute assigned administrative duties as defined by management, including updates to and maintenance of appropriate reporting and database systems
§Meet customer expectations and requirements while maintaining balance with business requirements   
 
Qualifications:
 
§High School Diploma or GED required
§Post-secondary education preferred
§Insurance License is a plus; but not required
§Must be comfortable with inbound and some outbound calls
