About Us

Stone Belt Arc is a nonprofit organization that provides resources and supports for individuals with disabilities. Stone Belt believes in the uniqueness, worth and right to self-determination of every person. We prepare, empower, and support people with developmental disabilities to live fully in the community.

People supported by Stone Belt enjoy giving back to their communities. Members of the Lifelong Learning program in Columbus spend time volunteering for First United Methodist Church. In March, Terry Ayers, Sam Hall, Neisha Luther and Brighid Blasdel—all participants in Stone Belt's Lifelong Learning Program in Columbus—were recognized for their hard work and dedication volunteering weekly for almost eight years at the Bartholomew County Humane Society.
Stone Belt is a proud and consistent sponsor of the National Down Syndrome Society's Buddy Walk in Columbus.
