Entrepreneurial Problem Solving with Ball State University
This team of instructors has taken a proven problem-solving method – the Basadar Simplexity Complex Problem Solving Process – and adapted it for innovation training in both business and community organizations. In this train-the-trainer method, you will learn how to deliberately separate problem and opportunity finding and definition to achieve solution finding and formation.
Because Ball State’s faculty and the Indiana Small Business Development Center believe Columbus has an excellent group of leaders poised to make a difference in our entrepreneurial community, it will offer a day and half of training to a select group of local business leaders who, following this unique training, will be empowered to solve problems and thus drive opportunity for our community and businesses in the everyday course of activity.
Training Highlights:
- What is your unique problem solving style? What does it mean to your everyday professional life?
- How can your organization use problem solving profiles to maximize performance?
- Practice problem solving skills.
- Training sessions will provide excellent opportunities to learn from other participants.
Other Notes:
- Lunch will be provided on day one.
- You will need to take the problem solving profile test online prior to the training. It will only take about 10-15 minutes. A link and instructions will be provided.
- Organizations of participants who complete the entire training session are eligible for their entire staff to take the problem solving profile test (some exceptions apply).
- There is no cost to participants.
