Event Description:
Of Hoosiers suffering from substance use disorder, up to 70 percent are currently employed. Helping employers manage the immediate impact of substance misuse on their current and future workforce is the focus of this important community event.

This meeting will provide employers with the knowledge and resources to both protect their businesses and assist their valuable employees. Topics will include:
  • legal guidance on drug-free workplace policies
  • how to detect drug use among employees
  • stories of recovery 
  • connections to local treatment and recovery efforts.

9:30 a.m. Prevent, assist, retain - Mike Thibideau, Director of Indiana Workforce Recovery, Wellness Council of Indiana
10:30 a.m. Legal guidance on developing a drug free workplace - Amy Adolay, Partner, Krieg Devault
11:45 a.m. Lunch break
12:30 p.m. Innovation at work panel discussion - Moderated by Mike Thibideau, includes participants from Centerstone, Belden and local employers
1:30 p.m. Naloxone training (optional) - Indiana State Department of Health
