Shop, Pack & Spread Some Christmas Cheer! 🎁

Join the Chamber for an afternoon of giving back as we volunteer with the Columbus Firemen’s Cheer Fund to help make Christmas special for children right here in our community!

So, what does volunteering look like? You'll be paired with a partner and given a family list outlining each child's age, gender, and Christmas wishes. Grab a shopping cart and head out into the Cheer Fund building to shop for the gifts on their list! Once you've gathered everything, you'll bring your cart to a packing station and box up the gifts. Cheer Fund volunteers will take it from there, labeling and organizing each box for delivery.

Each child receives 5 new toys, a soft item, 2 books, 3 stocking stuffers, and a family game. Children who request a bike receive one, too! And yes, the Cheer Fund makes sure even teenagers have something special waiting for them on Christmas morning.

It's a fun, hands-on way to make a BIG difference for local families during the holiday season!

A little extra cheer: Attendees are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate to the Cheer Fund. While donations are appreciated, they are absolutely not required to participate.
