OSHA 10-Hour General Industry Voluntary Compliance Course
The OSHA Outreach Training Program for General Industry teaches general industry employees and employers about their rights, employer responsibilities, and how to file a complaint as well as how to identify, abate, avoid and prevent job related hazards.
Each training day will begin promptly at the start time published. The training room will be open approximately 30 minutes prior to the start time. On Day 1 lunch will be on your own. For this a 1-hour lunch period will be offered for students to visit one of the nearby restaurants for lunch. Light refreshments will also be available throughout each training day.

Instructor:
The instructor for this course is Jeff Butcher. Jeff is the President of Sentinel Safety Group, which is an occupational safety, industrial hygiene, risk management and environmental services company based out of Columbus, Indiana. Mr. Butcher has 22 years of industrial experience and has been an OSHA authorized instructor for OSHA 10 and 30 hour courses for over 15 years. Jeff has a BS in Environmental Health from Purdue University, an MBA from Ball State University and holds both the Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) and Certified Safety Professional (CSP) designations.

Participants will receive 10 hours of instruction, relevant material for each topic covered and a wallet-size OSHA 10-Hour General Industry card issued by the OSHA Training Institute. In order to receive your OSHA 10-hour card you must attend the entire course. Please note that each attendee must produce a government issued picture ID at the beginning of each training day. 29 CFR 1910 Code books will be available for purchase during the course for an additional fee.
