450 North Brewing Company expands with new distillery, 450 North Spirits.
Spirits are hand-crafted on a 600-gallon pot still using corn grown on the Simmons farm. “This is a true ground to bottle distillery,” says David Simmons, a lifelong farmer near Columbus, Indiana. “We are growing corn on land that has been in our family since 1850.”
450 North Spirits is currently offering vodka and gin produced from Simmons corn. Also
for sale in the tasting room are sourced six-year-old Indiana Straight Bourbon, Rye Whiskey, and Wheat Whiskey, all of which are blended, finished, and bottled here at 450 North Spirits. Tastings, flights, cocktails, and to-go bottles will be available at the new spirits bar inside the brewery’s taproom.
