Ribbon Cutting at Columbus Indiana Architectural Archives
The Columbus Indiana Architectural Archives will celebrate a Ribbon Cutting and Open House. Come see various archives that will be displayed, and enjoy refreshments in the courtyard afterward!
The Columbus Indiana Architectural Archives is hosting an open house and ribbon cutting.
The public is invited to stop in to learn more about CIAA and its collections. We collect, preserve, and promote the documentation of the design and construction process of significant modern architecture, landscape architecture, public art, and public planning in Bartholomew County.
We'll be displaying materials that will test your knowledge of our community's design heritage. See how well you can answer these questions:
- How would Columbus look today if an early concept of First Christian Church had been realized?
- Did a local bank engage in industrial espionage?
- Can you tell a real Tinguely from a fake?
- Can you help solve a mystery about a proposed pedestrian mall?
