YPN: Business Etiquette and Appropriate Communication in the Workplace
Have you ever wondered what is deemed "acceptable" business etiquette (i.e. dress, speech, dining with suppliers/customers)? Do you sometimes question what the appropriate way to communicate with others in the workplace is- particularly if there are people of various seniority levels, backgrounds, and cultures? Have the various technology mediums in place today made you wonder about the most effective way to get your message across to an audience who may receive it on a smartphone, iPad, or laptop?
If you answered "yes" to any of the above questions, come join us for this month's Young Professionals Network (YPN) session. Melina Kennedy, Director of Executive Communications at Cummins Inc. will be speaking to these points, as well as giving a brief overview of her career path.
