The Forge on 4th is currently seeking a passionate, creative, and dependable Head Chef / Lead Chef to join our team in downtown Columbus, IN. We are looking for a leader who thrives in both structured weekly service and dynamic catering environments to help shape our menus and lead our kitchen operations.

Position Details:

  - Type: Full-Time
  - Schedule: Monday–Thursday (core kitchen operations) plus weekend catering events.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  - Overseeing all kitchen operations, including prep, service, and cleanup.
  - Planning and executing menus for in-house dining and weekend catering.
  - Leading, training, and motivating kitchen staff.
  - Managing inventory, ordering, and cost control.
  - Ensuring high standards for food safety and sanitation.
  - Collaborating with ownership on seasonal updates and special events.
