Garment Decorator

Sew Vivid Designs is a family-owned business specializing in embroidery, screen printing, and promotional products. We focus on creating custom clothing featuring company logos, as well as our unique designs, including hats, signs, and etched merchandise. We serve both individual customers through our e-commerce platforms and local businesses.
 
Sew Vivid Designs is seeking an individual focused on detail and committed to fulfilling our open position and joining our team in Columbus, Indiana. This position is part time, 26-35 hours a week. Hours are from 9 a.m. to 4 or 5 p.m. Monday - Friday, option of a 4-day work week with Wednesday or Thursday off.

Job Summary:
This position will be cross trained in all areas of our business, including embroidery, screen printing, direct to film/garment printing, packaging and social media. Previous experience is not required.

Job Duties:

• Review work orders, observe specifications and any special notes 
• Operate equipment, includes embroidery machines, screen printing press, heat presses and direct to garment printers.
• Inspect finished products for quality assurance
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.

Physical Work Environment:

• Job is performed in a climate-controlled environment.
• Extra hours available during peak season.
• Fast-paced environment.
• Requires standing, walking, bending and lifting boxes up to 30 lbs. Assistance is always available for lifting.
• Good eyesight needed for working with thread and needles.
• Embroidery machine noise can be expected.

 
Job Type: Hourly
 
Pay: $15-17 per hour
 
Expected hours: 26-35 per week
