IU Columbus to host spring visit days

Indiana University Columbus is hosting visit days in April for students and families to learn about earning an IU degree right here in Columbus.

Visitors can explore IU undergraduate and graduate programs, receive hands-on assistance with the application process, take a campus tour, and get answers to their questions. Spanish-language materials and information about FAFSA for federal financial aid, scholarships and work-study opportunities will also be available.

All visits begin at the Admissions Office, located inside Door 3 in the Campus Center Building at 4601 Central Ave. in Columbus.

March 30-April 3: “Color Your Future” Week

Get individual, walk-in help March 30 to April 3 (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.) during “Color Your Future” Week. All attendees will receive a free coloring book.

April 6: Get to know IU Columbus

For high school juniors and seniors, the April 6 session runs from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Participants will learn about campus life, academic programs and the admissions process. Sign up in advance at go.iu.edu/columbus-visit.

Walk-in Wednesdays in April

Anyone interested in IU Columbus is encouraged to stop by any Wednesday in April between 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Meet with an admissions counselor and take home free swag. Featured giveaways include:

• April 1: Beanie hat
• April 8: Coloring book
• April 15: Notebook
• April 22: Aluminum solo cup
• April 29: Socks

April 20: Crimson Close-up

Crimson Close-up is offered on April 20 at 4 p.m. (and later dates). It’s a small-group visit experience where prospective students and their families can explore IU Columbus, tour campus, and get to know the student services teams who will support their journey.
