?? AUDITIONS: Shakespeare’s Power Play ??
Mill Race Theatre Company

Ever wanted to try Shakespeare but weren’t sure you “could”?
Good news: you can — and we’d love to see you.

Shakespeare’s Power Play is a fast-paced, showcase-style production featuring scenes like:

Current set list (and more!)

  • Richard III (IV, iv)
  • King Lear (I, i)
  • Measure for Measure (II, ii)
  • Coriolanus (III, iii)
  • Macbeth (something spooky ??)
  • Othello (I, i)
  • Hamlet (I, iii)
  • Twelfth Night (something fun ??)
  • Romeo & Juliet (III, i)

How to Prepare

? Tell yourself you can do it ? Tell yourself to try ? Show up — we’ll help you shine

  • Have a Shakespeare monologue? Bring it.
  • Want to share a favorite poem? Go for it.
  • Nervous and just trying not to panic? We’ve got you.

You may read from monologues or audition scenes at the audition.

Think: Funnest English class ever.
(Yes, the grammar is bad — Shakespeare invented words anyway.)
