MRTC Presents: The Laramie Project Auditions
Audition for Mill Race Theatre's Production of The Laramie Project!
Mill Race Theatre is proud to present The Laramie Project by Moisés Kaufman and the Members of Tectonic Theater Project, directed by Eric Heyob.
Based on hundreds of interviews with the people of Laramie, Wyoming, this powerful documentary-style play explores the community's response to the 1998 murder of Matthew Shepard. Through the voices of friends, family members, journalists, law enforcement, and local residents, The Laramie Project is a moving examination of grief, prejudice, compassion, justice, and the importance of empathy.
