OVERALL FUNCTION
The Marketing Specialist (MS) focuses on successfully marketing the Greater Horizon Team to improve brand awareness while assisting in promoting all marketing related activities. The MS will develop and implement marketing strategies to promote our brand, services, and staff.
Manage the client experience, and all aspects to build social media and ESO presence. Specific responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

JOB DESCRIPTION
Promotion
• Manage digital presence:
? Maximize social media presence to drive engagements by posting frequently and leveraging social media campaigns.
? Customize team website on a regular basis to attract prospects and communicate the value proposition of the practice.
? Develop a strategy to drive traffic to the website and convert that traffic into connections.
? Leverage and maintain e-marketing through CRM, direct mail, and email (Ecards, Campaigns, etc.) to stay actively engaged with existing clients and enhance client experience.
• Position the firm as thought leaders in the community by leveraging consumer education tools and community partners (whitepapers, explainer videos, seminars, etc.)
• Develop and maintain marketing content/materials via the Marketing Commons Portal and social media platforms, within compliance guidelines and approvals.
• Incorporate marketing pieces such as brochures, bylined articles, and preapproved articles.
• Help staff to maintain email auto signatures.
• Evaluate organizations within target market(s) for sponsorship, advertising and/or networking opportunities and monitor results of these endeavors.
• Look for opportunities for local Press Release

Client Experience
• Manage client segmentation in CRM and supporting vendors to drive effective client touch plans that drive the goals of the practice.
• Develop a marketing calendar that incorporates the right components and frequency to meet the firm’s objectives.
• Plan and execute opportunities for client appreciation and/or prospecting events.
• Survey clients periodically to ensure satisfaction and Identify opportunities to promote client success stories, using Net Promoter Scoring
• Manage the client onboarding and in office experience.
• Develop and maintain gift logs to ensure compliance and fulfillment.

General
• Develop and execute the annual Greater Horizon Financial Group marketing plan
including a review of the effectiveness of the efforts above and tracking towards agreed upon measures of success.
• Establish a marketing budget and ROI.
• Incorporate marketing as a standing topic in team meetings to report on progress and inform team about upcoming marketing initiatives.
• Promote and manage investment in sponsorship or partnership opportunities that align with the firm’s values.
• Utilize office resources such as marketing newsletters and internal resources to keep abreast of industry trends, changes, and client list opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Marketing experience required.
• Event planning experience required.
• Financial Service, Insurance industry or similar experience preferred.
• Superior interpersonal skills
• Ability to establish instant credibility with clients and prospects.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Superior written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
• Ability to proactively identify what needs to be accomplished and act.
• Ability to work both independently and on a team.
• Graphic design experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications, data entry, and customer resource management software preferred.
• Experience developing marketing and communication plans.
